JENNIFER BONHOMME
Founder & Strategy Principal
Jen Bonhomme has spent her 20-year career finding what is true about a brand and building something lasting from it. She has led strategy at VML, Y&R, JWT, and HUGE, working with companies like Dell Technologies, Google, Hyatt, Nestlé, Bayer, and American Express. Jen also has significant technology start-up experience, ranging from piezoelectric sensors and low Earth orbit satellites to consumer software and wearables, she has helped ambitious companies land their foundational positioning and brand story.
Her work goes beyond campaigns. Jen operates at the foundational level of brand: defining mission, vision, purpose, positioning, and architecture for organizations at genuine inflection points. It is the kind of work that changes how a company sees itself, not just how it shows up in the market. She has contributed to winning Gold Effies, Cannes Lions Grand Prix, Grand Clios, and beyond. She also keeps one foot in academia, guest lecturing at top universities like NYU and Syracuse and publishing in the Journal of Advertising Research, where she previously won the Academic Paper of the Year.
She believes original ideas, grounded in insight, have the power to change a brand's entire trajectory. She also believes that when brands choose to be a positive force in the world, audiences notice, and the response can be astounding.
Hamish has over 30 years of experience working in design agencies across Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney, and New York. He was previously Executive Design Director at VML and the Head of Design at Y&R and Saatchi & Saatchi, working with a range of clients, including P&G, Goldman Sachs, Dell Technologies, Xerox, JPMorgan, Cirque du Soleil, Optimum, and New Balance. Hamish also has significant experience designing brand identities for scaling start-ups and small- to mid-size companies, helping them convey the right semiotic signals and visually articulate their brand story.
He played a key role in winning the coveted ‘Agency of the Year’ title at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, scooping 6 Lions, including the Grand Prix for Tide Ultra. His work has been recognized by other creative award shows, including One Show, D&AD, The Art Directors Club, Clios, Communication Arts, and The Type Directors Club.
He believes in the power of simple ideas executed with care. His designs are distinctive, culturally relevant, and enduring, whether expressed through brand identity or a go-to-market campaign. His strongest work is building a brand from the ground up or reinventing established identities in fresh, unexpected ways.
